Learn why most cyanotypes look predictable - and discover 3 secrets that will change everything.

I don't know how to take what I see and abstract it.

I don't know that to do.

I don't really know what I'm looking for/at.

I don't know what I'm trying to achieve/say.

What if I do it wrong?

I've tried it the way I see others doing it but I don't get it/it doesn't resonate with me.

A couple of years ago, I was staring at yet another blue cyanotype thinking, "This is nice, but there has to be more to this medium than white silhouettes on blue paper."

I was at a point in my creative development where I was keen to challenge boundaries, push my use of natural materials and, feeling rebellious, break the rules! It was frustrating to see something with apparent potential only being used (and taught) in a very safe way.

If, like me, you want to break away from the classical blue cyanotype and explore a world of exciting and conversation-worthy images, this guide is most definitely for you! By the end of it, you'll understand exactly why most cyanotypes look predictable - and discover 3 secrets that will change everything.

Each secret takes less than 5 minutes to understand, but the results will transform your practice forever.

Happy creating!
