Course Overview 

This brand new class offers standalone yet connected abstraction sessions designed to encourage a reflective and personal approach to abstraction based on traditional observation exercises. Each class works as a standalone session, but if taken as a full programme this will offer a comprehensive introduction to the world of abstraction, developing your confidence as an artist.

Where: Teyr Fine Art, 1c Princes Street, Bude EX23 8AT

When: Wednesdays (3 per month) 9.30am to 11.30am

Cost: £35 per session includes all materials

Spaces available: A maximum of 6 spaces are available for each session

Additional: Food and drink can be purchased from various venues in town

A few points to note:

Places are limited due to the available space. I will have a waitlist in the event of cancellations but please confirm your space as early as possible to avoid missing out.

Please ensure you park somewhere that covers you for over 2 hours to avoid having to move the car midway through the session.

Joining Information

Please arrive at the gallery in good time for a 9.30am start. We will finish at 11.30am.

I’ll provide paper and canvas boards to work on and a selection of art materials, brushes and paints, but if you have materials you would particularly like to use then please feel free to bring them along.

I would recommend wearing old clothes or bring an apron to protect your clothes.

Cost is £35 per session payable in advance via the online booking form. Block booking packages are available.

Refunds are not offered in the event of cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the class start time. if you need to cancel outside that 24 hour window you can have the opportunity to transfer to another week, or receive a refund minus the card fees.
