Explore abstraction with Natalie at

These classes are designed to encourage a reflective and personal approach to abstraction based on traditional observation and creative play exercises. Each session works as a standalone class, but if taken as a full programme this will offer a comprehensive introduction to the world of abstraction, developing your confidence as an artist.
Weekly topics will include:

These sessions introduce core abstraction principles that I use in my own practice, encouraging personal reflection, exploration and development.
The emphasis is on creative play, exploration and curiosity!
Where: Teyr Fine Art, 1c Princes Street, Bude EX23 8AT
When: Wednesdays (see dates below) 9.30am to 11.30am
Cost: £35 per session includes all materials
Spaces available: A maximum of 6 spaces are available for each session, must be prebooked
A few points to note:
Places are limited due to the available space. I will have a waitlist in the event of cancellations but please confirm your space as early as possible to avoid missing out.
Please ensure you park somewhere that covers you for over 2 hours to avoid having to move the car midway through the session.
Joining Information
Please arrive at the gallery in good time for a 9.30am start. We will finish at 11.30am.
I’ll provide paper and canvas boards to work on and a selection of art materials, brushes and paints, but if you have materials you would particularly like to use then please feel free to bring them along.
I would recommend wearing old clothes or bring an apron to protect your clothes.
Cost is £35 per session payable in advance via the online booking form.
Refunds are not offered in the event of cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the class start time. if you need to cancel outside that 24 hour window you can have the opportunity to transfer to another week, or receive a refund minus the card fees.

Meet Natalie, Your Guide
I spent a long time trying to understand what I wanted my art practice to be and how I wanted to make that happen.
After many dead ends and frustrations I brought all my successes together to create a framework that worked for me.
Experimentation
Everything I teach has an element of experimentation and I strongly encourage this mindset in all the classes.
I teach you the basics, then support you to continue asking 'what if'....' as you explore and apply what you have learned into your own practice.

Join me as I share this with artists just like you, whatever your experience.
