These classes offer a gentle and supported pathway into abstract art.
They are designed to encourage a reflective and personal approach to abstraction based on traditional observation and creative play exercises.
Whether you're experienced or beginner, the mix of tutored time with space to explore and play will help you learn, experiment and develop your confidence in art.
Running in blocks of sessions, and based on an image from a selected artist which we will use as an anchor point for the duration, the class plan for APRIL will include the following:
⭐️ 8th April: Rhythm & Pattern - creating movement in your art
⭐️ 22nd April: Integration & Personal Voice - developing your unique visual language
⭐️ 29th April: Inspired by.... David Hockney
Book here and confirm your space - please check back for future dates
Thank you to my lovely students who gave the following feedback for the recent classes:
⭐️ "I really enjoyed every class and gradually built my skills and confidence. To anyone who might be hesitant about joining the class: Do it, it’s really fun!" Rebecca
⭐️ "[I most enjoyed] the freedom, the lack of pressure or expectation, the joy of just playing on paper." Sara
⭐️ "To anyone who might be hesitant about joining the class: Do not hesitate!! Even if you don’t achieve a masterpiece, your creative soul will have been restored by the experience, seeing other people’s work/ideas and a very empathetic, intuitive and inspiring tutor." Pat.
⭐️ "I was so concerned that my skill wouldn’t be enough but Natalie very quickly put me at ease. There was no pressure to get it ‘right’, I was able to relax and play – it was fun." Wendy
I hope to see you in class!
